Soaking Vacation

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us
Well what a way to spend the last half of this winter vacation. It's been cold, and raining for most of this week, really making it hard to do much of anything outside of the house. Also the rain has made evident that there are still plenty of repairs to make here around the house, it's not pleasant times when a piece (albeit small) of the ceiling falls due to water damage. Hopefully after this week of rains something can be done about it, as long as my winter class doesn't take up much of my time in regards to work outside of class.

On a more pleasant note, I stopped by Aaron Brothers the other day to buy frames for my 2 posters. They had a buy 1, buy the second for a penny. So now i have my Pirates of the Caribbean and Episode III teaser posters in the frames and now i just have to hang them up on my wall, and they match the frame that was around the Empire Strikes Back poster I got a few years ago for Christmas.

Merry Christmas

I don't really have a good post about anything set up, I've just been enjoying my holiday with family. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, and to those getting belated greetings many sorries. ^_^;

I got some dvds, a couple of games and some reading material, so I'm set. I got the promotional poster for Episode III from my brother and his family, so now I need 2 poster frames, 1 for that one and the other for my Pirates of the Caribbean poster. That will look good once I put them up next to my Empire Strikes back poster.

Happy Holidays.

SW Parallels

As anyone who knows me has found out, I'm a big Star Wars fan. And I happen to be very much so looking forward to Episode III that's coming out May 19, 2005. Anyway, as I was purchasing my weekly load of comics, I noticed some sample cards out on the counter. It was from the new Revenge of the Sith cards that are coming out in April. But what awed me was the image that was on the card. And I just had to show it here and compare it to Return of the Jedi, because that good ol' guy George Lucas just might be making one of the best movies ever to be made.. And it looks like the parallels between Episode III and Episode VI will be pretty evident, and my observation is we'll see the difference between the decision making of Anakin in III and Luke in VI and just how we got to where it goes.

Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

Episode VI - Return of the Jedi

George you clever clever man.

Can you spare a clone?

This is an interesting story, over in San Francisco, Genetic Savings and Clone sold a 9 week old kitty for $50,000 to a woman who the kitty's cloned from her dead cat's dna that she and her husband preserved. Ironically, the kitty is called 'Little Nicky'. Now if you were going to tell me there was going to be a Little Nicky clone, I would've said "Another bad Sandler movie? What's new." :p

A New Start

Well, welcome to the umpteenth version of my blog. I changed the name, because Spotle was a very inside joke name that not many would understand how it was born. I'm definitely looking to bringing up some more interesting stuff than just the fantasy stuff that started to fill my last few entries on Spotle. Anyway. I'm looking forward to sharing some cool stuff I hope. Just another day with The Late Shift. ;]

Weird Deam

The other day i had a dream where for some reason my brother was back in my house, and he had a huge dog, which proceeded to bite my leg. After getting the dog off and carrying me into the bed of my dad's truck, not much else happened that i can recall.

So today my friend showed me a dream decoder site and this is what they had:

"To dream that a dog bites your on the leg, suggests that you have lost your ability to balance aspects of your life. You may be hesitant in approaching a new situation or have no desire to move forward with your goals. "

O_O

Just weird.
