Lord of the Funky Dreams

Hmm, start of a new week, and what do ya know? I have a dream for the first time in awhile, and it was a really odd one. So here goes:

It starts with Me and my friend Andrea in a McDonalds. She was wearing a yellow blouse with white stripes, and a white skirt(? I don't know how to describe it). Anyway, it was really busy, and we noticed that there was a cash register unmanned, so Andrea, who was tired of waiting went behind the counter and starting ringing up our order. As she was doing that, I saw that the Manager was looking at her, wondering if she worked there or not, since by coincidence the yellow blouse Andrea was wearing happened to look very similar to their uniforms. (Yes, i know. Mcdonalds doesn't have uniforms that look like that.. O_O ) Anyway, I was afraid we were going to get caught so I told Andrea, I'd wait outside, so it wouldn't look suspicious with me just standing there. So as I went outside and rested my arms on the rail looking towards the street, I feel an elbow rub against mine that was on the rail, I look and it was Daniel Yun next to me, saying hi and asking how i'm doing and stuff.. Now that is weird, because I haven't talked to that guy since like Junior year of High school or something, I've seen him around GCC but we were more friends of a friend, and not really friends, if you know what I mean. Anyway, as he was talking to me, i look across the street and I see my friend Genta crossing the crosswalk. (Haven't talked to him since Senior year of highschool) I wave to him and yell hello and I start to walk along the sidewalk... when from behind me comes two more of my old friends, Peter and Alex.. (Saw Peter at Georgies, um.. like 2 weeks ago. Haven't seen Alex since Senior Year.) They talked to me a bit.. and then Andrea came out and told me to come back in. So I come back into McDonald's with her, and the place is still packed and she tells me we're just waiting for the food and then I wake up.. Weird dream, eh? .. Especially for my first dream in awhile.

So I told Andrea about this after she finished watching Lord of the Rings: Return of the King this morning.. It's so fun trying to guess what part of a movie she's at when she's watching it.. I either sound crazy, or psychic... I'm glad she's nice enough to humor my weirdness.

Also.. I ordered some presents for my bday today. I showed my mom the deals that were available, and I went this route instead of continuing my plea for a camera, because it wasn't going to happen.. or it would've been a poor quality one with my luck.. Anyway, so I ordered some anime that were on sale, and it came out to like $170 or so.. Regular price would've been $470+ .. So definitely a bargain. They'll probably arrive right around my bday too. Heh.

Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!

Hmm, today was sort of a relaxation day, I felt better from last night, I had no headache to speak of. And I just spent some of the morning, talking to Andrea before I had to get ready and leave for the Family BBQ, which I did at 5pm. We got there and the guys were still working outside on some of the patio work, but I wasn't needed because there were already too many hands.. it just took time. So I spent most of the time, playing with my 15 month old niece, who is just the most cutest and adorable girl I know.

Then I went upstairs to the bonus room and went on the computer a bit and posted a bit on TZ and PaQLanD, before leaving that and going to the TV and watching the highlights of the Pacers/Pistons game. Then dinner was ready, I had a hamburger and two hot dogs, and watched about half of Indiana Jones and the last Crusade. I always enjoy that movie, it was on USA network. After that, we said our goodbyes and went home. Got home tonight around 10PM, and I talked a bit to Andrea, Rayne and Rabi. A nice conversation i had with each, and I am currently watching the encore of AS, sorta missing some of Birdman typing this. lol.

Oh, and before I go, I wanted to mention that I also spent this morning looking over my old site files and inserting all my blog posts into this blog. So my whole blogging career is on this blog, including some sports reviews I did in may of last year. Could be fun reading for anyone wanting to know me, from a year ago. That's all. Till next time.

StarCrossed Headache

Day 2 of my holiday weekend, a long day this would be. I got informed yesterday that I would be needed today along with my dad's truck to go to Lowe's to buy lumber for my brother. So we had to meet him at 10:30, meaning I had to wake up about 9:30, and I grumpily got ready and we met him there. After getting some of the lumber (including pieces 16 ft long! Crazy positioning went on with the truck) we dropped them off at my brother's house, and then we decided to go to the Home Depot right by his place and try there for more lumber. It came out that place had a lot more of what he needed, so we proceeded to buy and load up the truck and took it back to his place, a few blocks away. The Lumber is for a patio that's being built by the way. Anyway, we unloaded the lumber and we went on our merry way back home.

Finally arrived home at 4:30, I missed all of Duel Masters but just in time to see Justice League's Starcrossed Start. This is around the time I started getting a headache.. It got pretty bad the whole day from there, so much so, that I didn't talk to anyone really, outside of some comments to Rayne, who I take the time now to thank you for caring.*hugs* So it was convenient that Andrea was gone, because I wouldn't have been in the mood to chat on Saturdays, like we usually do. So I spent the rest of the day laying on my bed trying to enjoy the shows while the whole time having my head pounding. I thoroughly enjoyed StarCrossed, didn't enjoy MEGAS, loved Hakusho, liked GT and loved SEED, as well as Inuyasha and Wolf's Rain. My headache is finally going away around now, 1am.. so. It's .. frustrating, but hopefully i'll be able to sleep and have a good time tomorrow, especially since i found out that my brother won't need me for work tomorrow..

Jack Sparrow & Andrea

Well two good things happened on Friday, besides the dreaded dentist visit. I was supposed to possibly play poker with Lorn and a few friends, but after not hearing anything by 7:15, I decided to proposition my parents. With what, you might ask.. To watch Pirates of the Caribbean together while we ate dinner, and guess what we did.

This was the first time I have seen Pirates, and this movie is just so freaking awesome. I was entertained throughout, and the story was great, the cg work was amazing, hardly felt like a 2 hour movie. It was well worth the length. I even have become a big Jack Sparrow fan, I finally see what Barb Gordon from Toon Zone, sees in the guy and in the movie. My jaw was open the whole movie.. Just awesome. I have to watch the movie again, and if I get time this weekend, I may want to change my avatar.. heh.

The other bit of good news, is actually very good news, one of my angels, Andrea returned tonight! I was so surprised to see when I came online after watching Pirates to see her messages.. I broke a huge grin on my face and even though we were both tired, we talked for a few hours tonight. I had a great time, and I missed her a lot, she'll be gone tomorrow, but we'll finish catching up on Sunday.. Oh, and she had a great time on her HOT trip.

Dentist

Ugh.. Well, what a way to spend my day off and the beginning of my 4day weekend. Relaxing? Noooo.. Not for me, I had to go to the dentist today. Had the appointment at 11, I slept in till 10, so I had like no morning. I had gone on earlier in the week to fill out all the paperwork, since this was the first time for me at this office, and to get my xrays taken and for the dentist to check me out.

Anyway, it was determined I needed to get some fillings, so thus today's appointment. So i signed in and waited, about 5-10 minutes later a cute dental assistant guided me to my appropriate chair, subtle flirting somewhat ensued during that time. I waited a bit, and then the lady came and gave me shots of I'm assuming novacaine and numbed up most of my mouth, then I had to wait awhile longer for the numbness to take effect, and then they started on my fillings. They were finally done with me at 12:54. I got up and as I was leaving, I see that my mom, who had a 12pm appointment, was in the cubicle next to me, sitting in the chair waiting for her turn. I talked to her a bit about how I was and such, and then the dentist came to work on her, so I left, saying bye to that dental assistant from before.. but of course. *smiles*

So I spent the rest of today, with my mouth numb, till it finally wore off around 4 or so. I do have to go back next week, for one more filling. Ugh.. I hate needles, so I despise the numbing process. *sigh* Teeth can be such a pain.

See Andrea, you're right about DDR being a crazy workout tool. After reading the article, I really should play some DDR to stay in shape, have some fun while getting tone. Although you always look silly when you're a newbie, especially me because I am one uncoordinated sob.

I'm so freaking surprised to hear this news.. My former Ceramics teacher at my old High school, got arrested. It's just so crazy, I can't believe he actually did what he did, although having a private bathroom in the ceramics area I can see how the idea could be thought of, he has some big brass ones if you know what I mean..

It's stupid that he did it, but he did and it happened. Hopefully I'd like to see him continue teaching at CV.. but I don't think that will be happening.. I was telling Isaac that I think when the girls who have taken Ceramics find out they're probably going to be super pissed because the girls always loved Roger, he was an awesome teacher. This sucks..

Not said in the article, but on the news that I saw, he uploaded like 2000 pics and had about 7 videos at his home. I wonder when he started, he moved into that ceramics room during my senior year (when I was taking Ceramics) and that was in 2002.

This is just a crazy story, and I'll be sure to add articles on this should they become available.

Cosplay is Your Friend

Wow.. Cosplay, I never knew it could be so fun.

I just spent the last 2 hours looking over cosplay pictures with my friend Andrea. I was just cracking up at the cool costumes we saw, the interesting takes on characters and just the amount of Vash's! Obviously a popular character to cosplay.

I sorta regret not being able to make it last year to Anime Expo, and I don't think I'll be able to go this year, it's just so close and things just aren't ideal. If my friend Rayne was going, I possibly could try harder, I'm still going to try to go, but things have to get in order.

I feel similar with Comic-con. I'm going to try and see if I can go this year. I'd like to see all these cosplayers in person. It's crazy on pictures, I can only imagine it's crazier seeing it in person.

Back to the cosplay, we found one (well she did) of a girl who looked similar to her cosplaying, but we won't post that pic now will we.. *winks* But I did want to share this pic of a guy cosplaying as Sanosuke from Kenshin. Becaues he looks a bit like my close friend Alan... and I find it funny..

Adrian & Keesha

Well after a year hiatus, technically 2, Adrian & Keesha were back together again.

Keesha is my bestfriend from highschool, one of the few who get me, in fact the first female to really get me. We're pretty crazy when we're together, and we had drifted apart this past 2 years since graduation because, I was stupid, and I lost sight of what was important in my life.

This month I got my clarity back, and know what's important to me and my life. And she's a part of what was good with my life, so I decided to reconnect with her. I opened up the yearbook and called her number, which luckily was still her number and we ended up getting together Saturday for some ice cream and we just talked and caught up on what's been going on in each other's lives. It was a fun few hours together, I realize now just how much I missed her, and am glad that i wisened up and made the call. So we're going to hang out more frequently.. in fact, I'm about to call her after I post this.

Fun times.

What is up with the word PaQ?

I thought I was being creative when I thought it up.. I thought it would at least be unique.. but everywhere I go, someone has taken those 3 letters before me. Very strange, and slightly annoying.

I just started looking into it recently, as I've wondered if I want to get rid of the KinG part of my monniker. I am PaQ.

iframe

Well, using iframe my idea works, and well, this is my new blog. I inputted all my old entries, so they'll be easy to find, and now on the left you'll have links of some of my favorite people's places to go, and my moblog of course.. If you want the archives just scroll to the bottom and there are the links for those.

This will be a lot easier for me, and I'm still working on some of the customization bugs. But it's looking pretty good, and working well for me.

I'm back on Blogspot

Wow.. Hard to believe that I had a blog already created here. I just discovered it today as I'm looking for an easier way to blog. Almost exactly a year later. How time passes.

Anyway, i'm going to try to put this on my site using iframe later, hopefully it works out.

If anyone knows how to customize blogspot templates, gimme a ring.
