Wandering back to an old hobby.

Today.. I started getting comics again, and I keep asking myself why did I ever stop. I guess the urge wasn't large enough for me, and when my brother moved out, and I went to Junior High.. the urge wasn't there anymore. I went occasionally, I wish I had made it work.. Now I doubt I'll ever get those years back, but I can try to stay in touch now. I also realize now, that I got all DC comics.. I'll have to look for Punisher, Spider-Man when I go next time. I got:

Teen Titans Go! #8 - Well, I'm a fan of the show, so I decided to buy Issue 8 hoping for the best, and I wasn't disappointed. I liked the cover, having the hypnotized Titans say "Buy This book!" I wasn't surprised that Star was the one approached about the clothing line, I would've gone after her first too. Then Beast Boy and his impulsiveness agreeing for her, and seeing them in those funky outfits was funny. Nice part with BB putting that hat on Robin, and then realizing he should take it off. Once I realized the clothes were the reason everyone was under Mad Mod's control, I figured a lack of clothes would be the solution. A very interesting method to get rid of the clothes, and I was just cracking up at the end with Star being naked and the reactions of Robin and Cyborg. Good issue, kept me entertained. Had the feel of the series. I give it an A-.
Identity Crisis #1
Batman: Harley and Ivy #3
Batman Adventures #15 - This was the first chance I got to read an issue of BA. And wow, it was great, and I'm glad I decided to pick this up off the shelf. I loved the colors on the cover, and the story was really good. Seeing Francis try to hide Viktor's letter and then to try to make it look like Mr. Freeze was after him.. Then Nora reuniting with Viktor only to have it turn bittersweet with the appearance of Batman. I'm hopeful that Nora eventually finds him again, she definitely has the resolve and determination like Viktor.. A perfect match. Great issue. I give it an A.
Batman #629 - I liked the cover a lot, it's what attracted me to the issue in the first place, I liked this design of an "older" Jason might've looked like. It's unfortunate that somehow he couldn't miracuolously be alive, but it was a nice thought, although the paranoia of him being alive doesn't seem original. Too much time was spent on Batman struggling with the Toxin, that was pretty much the whole issue. And what was up with Robin (Tim) looking so young?! He looked like 13/14.. I didn't like that, but I thought the issue was good as a single, it probably brought down the arc they're in, but I haven't seen the other issues. I give it a B.
Batman/Superman #8
Robin #127
The New Adventures of Batgirl and Robin #53

Batman - Bruce Wayne: Murderer?
ThunderCats - The Return

I will be going back on Saturday (Free Comic Book Day).
